Exposing the Audience
Nachdem K3 im vergangenen Herbst eine Reihe von Kuratorinnen und Kuratoren anlässlich des events exposing the curator in den Mittelpunkt gerückt hat, ist nun das Publikum selber an der Reihe!

Vernissagen sind längst, da ist nicht zuletzt K3 Project Space selber ein Beispiel, Teil der hippen Eventkultur geworden. Braucht es da die ausgestellte Kunst überhaupt noch, oder genügt sich das Publikum längst selber? In einer Videoinstallation mit zwölf Fernsehmonitoren und Videobeams werden die Gäste und deren Vernissageverhalten gleichsam selber zum Objekt.
Mal sehen, was der Abend für Schlüsse zulässt!
Alle beautiful people der Kunstszene sind herzlich eingeladen zu dieser Selbstbespiegelung mit anschliessendem Tanzanlass.

After last autumns event Exposing the Curator, K3 Project Space has decided to put the art audience itself in the centre point of attention with a new video installation by Noël Dernesch, Sandi Paucic, Michi Egger and sound designer Martin Wigger.
For a while now, the private view has become the trendy and popular cult event which often reflects the question of whether or not any art needs to be on show at such events and gatherings. K3 is a good example for this tendency in the art scene. Is the audience more content with just itself in an art space?
In their video installation comprising of 12 monitors and video projectors, the guests at K3 with their vernissage behaviour, become the object on show.
All the many different scene people are invited to come along, take part and enjoy the evening.
