English artist Clare Goodwin, based in Zürich and writer Rebecca Geldard
from London, currently on residency at the Budget Bureau, present their
collaborative journey through Goethe’s Wahlverwandtschaften which
translates in English as Elective Affinities. Part road movie, part presentation, this performance questions the truth of translated information and examines the roles of fact and fiction in what is suggested to be a semi-autobiographical story.

Zürich, präsentieren ihre gemeinsame reise durch Goethes Wahlverwandtschaften engl. Elective Affinities. In ihrer gemeinsamen
performance für den Kaskadenkondensator zeigen sie ein roadmovie und hinterfragen den Wahrheitsgehalt von ins Deutsche übersetzten informationen. Entlang von Fakten und Fiktionen entpuppt sich eine halb-autobiografische Geschichte.
