Craig Fisher *1976 uk Craig Fisher's works are sculptures which refer to the worlds of high fashion and popular film, and are fabricated from advanced, yet utilitarian materials such as neoprene, gore-tex, army fatigue, leather, corduroy and wool. The work depicts hi-tech equipment and clothing, often juxtaposed with idiosyncratic natural elements, as if you'd stumbled on to the set of the Magic Roundabout. Rather than providing a scientific examination of the technologically contemporary materials and objects depicted, the work is deliberately cartoon and hand-crafted.
